Evidence-Based Practice

Evidence-based practice (EBP) is data-driven decisionmaking. Teacher-librarians monitor their daily tasks and collect evidence about their impact in order to discover the best techniques for raising student achievement.

Evidence, according to Ross Todd's framework, should be collected from three levels:
  1. The Learner Level
  2. The Teaching Unit Level
  3. The Organization Level
And in two dimensions
  1. Direct evidence
  2. Indirect evidence
